I am so excited that you are here!

Two years ago my life changed forever when I woke up one morning unable to feel my legs.
When I tried to scream for help, no sound came out.

48 hours later, I would lay dying and life as I knew it would change forever.

There had been no warning: one day I was a healthy, energetic woman living a wonderful life and the next – literally – I woke up and paralysis had started to set in.

Just like that my entire world had changed and everything along with it.

But what nobody knew, was my full journey. For many years I had lived a life that was artfully hidden behind achievements, accolades and very hard work.

Inside, I was paralysed with fear that anyone would discover the truth; the story of the girl behind the woman I had since become.

Then came the moment when I became physically paralysed. It was like a manifestation of my deepest fears. And in a way, it was.

What followed was something extraordinary. I became fully recovered at a rate unheard of. In fact, I was better; healthier than ever before!

They called it a ‘medical marvel’. I call it a miracle and a second chance at life. And I knew that with this beautiful second chance I had been gifted, that I would share my story with the hope of inspiring others.

That is the purpose of this personal page.

While I will be sharing plenty of career advice and industry-related information on the website, this page is my space to share a bit about me, about my personal journey, and about how I went from once being labelled “hopeless” to living a life and having a career that I am proud of, and that I am proud to share with others.

How did I go from H-symbol academic failure and the depths of despair, to straight-A student and a successful businesswoman with a thriving career?
